Dagmara Rowlands MSc, AMHSW

Dagmara is an experienced therapist and Mental Health Social Worker. She counsels individuals and couples on a range of personal and relationship difficulties. She has expertise in perinatal bereavement, chronic pain issues, trauma, grief and loss and 15 years clinical experience in community and hospital settings including gynaecology and oncology. She provides a compassionate, respectful space and will work with you at a pace that feels right for you. Her therapeutic approaches include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Self-compassion.

Dagmara will help you explore your experiences and goals. Her focus will be on drawing out your unique strengths and abilities to foster positive change In couples work she is skilled in supporting couples to communicate and reconnect with one another, creating space from which they can discuss and address issues collaboratively and explore future plans together in a safe, secure and focused environment.

Dagmara offers a safe and confidential space where people will be heard and feel respected, exploring issues of their choosing at their own pace. Medicare rebates are available.

Karen Potter BSW, MPsych (Educational and Developmental), Graduate Diploma Infant Mental Health

Karen is a registered Psychologist and an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has been working as a psychotherapist and counsellor for over 27 years.  She began her career in an organisation working specifically with trauma and this specialisation has continued throughout her career. Karen has a deep commitment to supporting people through trauma, grief and loss and has extensive experience and training in these areas, including Perinatal loss and Bereavement.

Karen worked at the Royal Women’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive and Special Care Nurseries as well as in one of the high complexity ante-natal clinics for many years.  As such, she has very direct experience with parent(s) whose baby dies either during pregnancy, stillbirth or in the early stages after birth. Since these years, Karen has maintained her interest and commitment to working with trauma, grief and loss and more specifically, in the perinatal area, which includes from the idea of the baby in the parent(s) mind through to the toddler years.

Karen has been working in private practice for over 20 years now and brings to her work a wealth of knowledge and experience together with a genuine warmth, compassion and capacity to connect with people on all levels.

Dr Sarah Young  BSc (Hons) Psychology, DPsych (Clin)

Accepting new telehealth referrals from February 2026.

Sarah is a clinical psychologist with fifteen years of experience working with clients with a broad range of presentations.  She has a particular interest in working with clients with a history of trauma and has focussed on specialising her skills in this area.  This interest extends to working with individuals navigating the perinatal period and Sarah is passionate about supporting clients through the psychological aspects associated with this stage of life. 

Sarah utilises a range of therapeutic techniques to suit a client’s individual needs.  She is a trained EMDR therapist and also draws on various trauma-informed interventions including sensorimotor psychotherapy, internal family systems, cognitive processing therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Sarah has genuine interest and care for supporting others and uses a warm and compassionate approach.
